What Gutter Work Includes
- Remove debris and clear the existing gutter channel completely
- For repairs: clean the damaged area, apply sealant or patch to holes, re-secure loose sections, and test drainage
- For replacement: remove old gutters and downspouts, inspect fascia for damage, install new gutter system with proper pitch (1/8 inch per 10 feet)
- Install or reposition gutter hangers and fasteners at proper spacing to support the water load
- Connect downspouts and verify water discharges at least 4-6 feet away from the foundation
- Final walkthrough and testing to confirm gutters drain properly and are secure
How We Inspect Your Gutters
- Visual inspection of the entire gutter line from ground level and roof to identify sagging, separation, holes, rust, or blockages
- Check downspout discharge to verify water is flowing away from the foundation and not pooling near the house
- Test water flow by running water through the gutters to confirm pitch and drainage during the inspection
- Assess fascia, soffit, and wall condition for signs of water damage or rot caused by failing gutters
